Step 1: Prep the Skull

The first step is to prepare a standard European Skull Mount.  This can be done either through a taxidermist using dermestid beetles, or you can do-it-yourself by boiling the skull and then bleaching to your desired level of whiteness.  There are many good sources for do-it-yourself information, including websites, YouTube videos, etc.

Step 2: Assemble the Shadow Plaque

The mount assembles easily with only a few screws and acorn nuts.  Watch the video below for basic assembly instructions.

Step 3: Mount the Skull

Bend the tabs out and slide the skull onto the mounting bracket.  The tabs can be adjusted in our out to stabilize the skull.
  

Step 4: Admire Your Trophy

Take some time to walk down memory lane and remember what it was that brought your beautiful mount to where it sits today.
